Welcome to Yulee Baptist Church "Virtual Worship"

Yulee Baptist Wednesday Prayer Meeting & Bible Study May 06, 2020

(SEE OUR UPDATED HOSPITAL LIST BELOW... THANKS TO THOSE OF YOU THAT HAVE CALLED WITH PERSONAL REQUESTS WHO HAVE DOCTOR VISITS, OR NEEDS AT HOME )

My Dear Church Family,

Thank you for your incredible faithfulness during these unprecedented days brought on by the COVID19 Virus, an invisible invader of our nation and community!  In a world filled with fear and darkness we must be a reflection of the wonderful life of Jesus Christ.

THIS COMING SUNDAY IS MOTHER'S DAY...
I am encouraging you to worship on the Lord ’s Day in any of the following ways:
  • First, you can worship by accessing our virtual service on YouTube (DVD/CD).
  • Second, you can worship at our Drive-In Service which will begin at 9:30am (weather permitting).
  • Third, you can worship inside at services at 8am, 11am and 2pm.
These services will be pretty much the same in content.  Please do what you feel is safe for you!

Please listen closely to your pastor, the COVID19 virus can be deadly for many people.  If you are older, or have underlying health conditions, please consider that you are at an increased risk.  Again, please do not feel pressured to do anything that you do not believe is safe for you and your family!  I am planning to continue to make these videos, and conduct the Drive-In services as long as there is a threat to anyone from the COVID19 Virus.

We will be observing social distancing both inside and outside, and will be encouraging recommended safer practices when we meet together at the church campus. For this reason, seating may be limited to less than 25% of our capacity as we observe social-distancing. Therefore, we are adding the 2pm afternoon service on Mother's Day. Thank you for understanding these precautions.

I am glad I am your Pastor,

Bro. Doug Sides

PS - Once again,  I am very grateful for every phone call, email, and text I am receiving.

On our electronic sign and on our regular sign we have put the following message:

"Love Thy Neighbor...
OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING".

Let's do our best to respect the space of others.  Let's use wisdom and be considerate of others during this time as Northeast Florida is opening up after the long shutdown of our community. Some people are out and about, choosing to go to restaurants, stores and the beach. There are others who are choosing to remain at home because of legitimate health concerns.  Let's respect everyone by being considerate.

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
